Add-on Covers
Zero Depreciation Cover Explained in Simple Language
Learn what zero depreciation may cover, where deductions can still apply and when this add-on can be useful.
During an admissible own-damage claim, depreciation may be deducted from the value of eligible replaced parts. A zero depreciation add-on can reduce these deductions, subject to policy terms.
The add-on does not make every claim completely free. Compulsory deductibles, voluntary deductibles, excluded items, consumables and non-approved repairs may still be payable by the customer.
Availability and claim limits can depend on the vehicle age, insurer and selected product. Always check the schedule and wording instead of relying only on the add-on name.
Zero depreciation is commonly considered for newer vehicles or vehicles with costly body parts, but its suitability depends on the additional premium and your actual usage.
